I agree with you Haitham. I went to my undergraduate graduation; however, I noticed a lot of people in my graduate program choose not to walk in the ceremony. When I questioned them about this choice they proclaimed that it was more of a hassle to go to graduation, send out invitations, set-up accommodations for relatives, etc. and therefore chose to simply receive their diploma in the mail.
Unfortunately I have never attended a (Graduation Ceremony) and I am really not so happy about that. In a world where we are pushing e-Learning, I don't want e-Learners feel the way I do every time I see photos of a graduation ceremony. Graduates have the right to celebrate their graduation. They have the right to remember the day they graduated. If you want to estimate the feeling of canceling graduation ceremony from e-Learners, imagine yourself with no memories of your graduation (any; primary, secondary school, college) and you will understand why graduation ceremonies are important.
